Malique Pye is a visual artist from Atlanta, Georgia. He works in multiple mediums, his primary focus being photography. His photographic career began capturing wildlife and sport photography from his experience working with dogs and horses in Florida, and playing rugby and experience break dancing.

He is based in Portland, Oregon, where he finished his BFA in Photography at Pacific Northwest College of Art. His current practice focuses on finding commonalities between subjects and exploring the way the perspectives in which they can be seen.

He is inspired by the ability to capture moments of movement that are often overlooked or missed in the real time we experience them. Preserving the energy and emotion of instances that capture passion and allow the opportunity to sit with them for longer periods of time.
